As I mentioned in my previous article Linebacker Play in the 43 Defense we are an attacking 43 defense.

However, scheme is just half the equation of playing good defense.

You also have to teach the base fundamentals and techniques for each position.

 

The following information and video clips cover some of the drills our linebackers run through weekly to improve upon all facets of their game.

Our drills are performed in a progression. We will start with agility work and then perform drills designed to improve our ability to read and react to our keys.
